Sorry, Seattle just didn't move me like it always did before

Was so looking forward to seeing BF after a long postponement. Seen them many times before, and always greatly enjoyed their artistry, by far the best tribute band to see. Gotta say Eva Avila was absolutely amazing in Great Gig, but… sorry guys, Seattle this time was unfortunately an overall disappointment. Two reasons. 1) Vocals were washed out throughout, overpowered by a highly drums dominant mix. Also, you seem to have lost the lyrical ‘drama’ and moving power of previous years. An example was the line “I never had the nerve to make the final cut”, the finality and regretfulness of the word ‘cut’ just not there. Rather than sung with a quick, edgy pronunciation per the original to emphasize the pain and consequence of that life ending self-action, it seemed to just be spoken the same as the rest of the line. Overall, I just wasn’t lyrically moved to chills in the way you’ve moved me every time in the past through the majority of the show. 2) Light show??? More like a highly effective interrogation room. The multiple blade lasers were fantastic, do more of that, especially the color spread, triangle plane rotations synced to music glides, so visually powerful and awe inducing. BUT, please, please, pleeeeeze lose the insanely bright rear stage led bar or turn the damn thing down. It added nothing, in fact spoiled the entire concert. Far, far too intensely bright. It ‘hid’ the band and made the screen presentation hard to watch, just blinding me. I want to watch the band perform, not have to sit with my eyes closed because my retina is burning. And, similarly, that stupidly bright spot behind Damian during the pinnacle Comfortably Numb solo, absolutely headache inducing. Maybe have your lighting engineer sit in the audience through the concert, see if they bump into walls afterward.
